Police chases and arrests driver after a two-car accident. Police succeeded in catching and arresting a driver who caused a two-car accident. The chase was completed on Wednesday.
Police say the pursuit began at I-71 and Red Bank Road in Fairfax; the main suspect caused a dramatic chase. The driver practically led the police to chase him from Red Bank Road to Montgomery Road.
Traffic camera footage captured just the end of the chase. Everything occurred in two in the afternoon. Suspect’s car was speeding and racing down the road in the right lane of Montogomery Road before colliding in another vehicle.
The main reason for the police chasing the driver was not clear.
The footage shows the officers rushing out of the police vehicles and running towards the suspect’s car.
The man was arrested after the car accident. One woman ended up with minor injuries as a result of the car collision. She was immediately taken to the nearest hospital.
For now, police do not reveal the identity of the driver, nor came out with information about the charges that will be pressed against him.
